As a form of commitment and seriousness to focus on building electric vehicles that offer the best quality and premium innovation in Indonesia, PT NETA Auto Indonesia has now officially partnered with a local partner, PT Handal Indonesia Motor (HIM). Signing an MOU with PT HIM on (26/07), this promising collaboration on assembling vehicles in CKD form that will begin in Q2 of 2024. PT HIM, which has been established since 1993 is chosen to be the strategic local assembly partner due to its experiences with full credibility and has been trusted by several other brands as well as Indonesian people.

The signing of this cooperation was attended by Mr. Kong Fanlong as Co-President of NETA Auto, Mr. Zhou Jiang as Vice President of NETA Auto and Executive Vice President of NETA Overseas, and Mr. Wang Chengjie as Assistant President of NETA Auto and Vice President of NETA Overseas. Meanwhile from PT HIM, Mr. Jongkie Sugiarto as Deputy Main Commissioner, Mr. Denny Siregar as President Director, and I.G.P Rampai Surya Budhi as Deputy Director of Auto Investa who were also present.

"As a new brand that has been established in Indonesia, we want to show our commitment and seriousness by presenting vehicles that meet the needs of Indonesian consumers. Not only with consumers, we are also trying to build strong partnerships with various companies for one goal, which is to develop the country's automotive industry. We hope that the collaboration between NETA and PT HIM can realize our vision and mission in supporting the Indonesian government's program to encourage the use of electric vehicles. We believe that Indonesia has great potential to accept electric cars as vehicles to support daily mobility activities because they are proven to be effective and environmentally friendly," said Mr. Wang Chengjie as Assistant President of NETA Auto and Vice President of NETA Overseas.

Introduced to the public in 2018 in China, NETA is now starting to expand its development to several countries in both Asia and Europe. Through its presence in Indonesia and the collaboration conducted by NETA with PT Handal Indonesia Motor, it is hoped that it will be able to present products that suit the needs of Indonesian automotive consumers. Furthermore, through its vision as an innovative brand that uses smart technology, NETA wants to bring electric vehicles that have sophisticated and advanced features, modern technology, as well as integrated systems to fill in the gap in Indonesia’s market.

Even though it is relatively new, NETA has proven its best product quality in various countries. Seeing the seriousness that is sustainable in NETA's journey, PT HIM is also confident that NETA will be able to compete in the automotive industry. "Of course, before collaborating, we saw the commitment in NETA's journey starting in 2014 when it established, then in 2018 it started with the first product launch, until now it has been in several countries and finally officially present in Indonesia.
